What Areas of Your Life Need Fresh Goals?
When setting goals, you want to consider all areas of your life. Its no good to achieve extreme success in your work if it costs you your health or your family. Its no good to be a superstar parent if it costs your fitness and personal relationships. There needs to be a balance so you can lead a rich, full life and achieve your goals with all parts working together for success.
One of my favorite success coaches, Jack Canfield, author of the Chicken Soup for the Soulbook series, recommends setting goals in the following areas:
-
FINANCES
-
CAREER/BUSINESS GOALS
-
FREE TIME/FAMILY TIME
-
HEALTH/APPEARANCE
-
RELATIONSHIPS
-
PERSONAL GROWTH
-
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
The assessment we use at The Coach Approach includes physical environment such as working and living space and puts additional focus on the relationship with a spouse or significant other. You can take this assessment online at The Coaches Training Institute to see where you might want to set some fresh goals in your life.
In any case, take a full inventory of the important aspects of your life and set your goals accordingly.
To your success,
